The random (purposive) sampling method has been used for collecting the required information. Many research studies have been conducted in the past with information literacy as the primary research topic. However, a review of the literature revealed that just a few studies have been conducted using media literacy as a primary focus. Consequently, this research contributes new knowledge to this less explored area of research. Paper concludes with suggestions to strengthen the awareness of media literacy among users.
ER -
